India is a big market for reality shows and everyone watch them religiously. One of the favourite reality show in Indian Telly is Big Boss. Big boss is based on Endemol's Big Brother which is prominent reality show is the UK. Famous personalities and Bollywood celebrities are contestants of Big Boss. They are called as housemates.The show is set to air its fifth season by October.<br /><br />The format of the show is simple and show starts with fixed number of housemates. The house also has recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, an activity area, a garden, and a gym. However, the most important room in the Bigg Boss House is the Confession Room wherein the housemates can talk to “Bigg Boss” privately and where every nomination process takes place.<br /><br />Every week, some contestants are nominated for eviction and big boss then decides about eviction. Contestants decide who should be nominated for each week. After nomination, all votes are conted and two to three contestants are put up for eviction. The only way to prevent these housemates from being eliminated is if they receive enough votes from the public to continue with the competition. The housemate together with the least quantity of votes will get evicted.<br /><br />Until the final night, this process continue. As every week contestants get kicked out of the show, usually 4 contestants stay for the final night. Then the winner is selected from these four contestants.<br /><br />Big boss is India's hit reality show and everyone is excited about the Big Boss 5. Big Boss season 5 will start from 2nd October and will last till 7th of January.
