Conscious Business Helps the Homeless
We all see it; bodies in doorways, people asking for money. It's getting worse and sadly, we are getting ?used' to it.
Government doesn't address it. It's up to you and me. Many of us ask ?What can I do?'
That is just why www.therosecatalog.com was created.
Without spending an extra penny, we can do our regular on-line shopping through the portal of the www.therosecatalog.com with its growing list of affiliates and vendors. The affiliates tithe to the catalog and the homeless get money. How easy is that?
The participating homeless individuals will hand out business cards asking that we shop the catalog instead of giving them spare change. They will receive a paycheck. Empowerment through employment. That is the mission statement.
Modeled after the business plan of Newman's Own, 100% of the net profits go directly to the homeless individuals and the not-for-profit Rose Center.
The Rose Center is dedicated to serving the needs of the homeless by providing shelter, food, lifeskill classes, employment agency, memorial services and more.
