Enrollment is fast and easy. Just go on the web to the network(s) you want and sign up. It won't be long before you move from becoming an observer to that of a participant.<br /><br />Those of us 65+ didn't invest our lives sitting on the sidelines. Becoming a spectator is okay, but being in the game is even greater. So why not continue to do that now, when so much is going on? Get on the web and surf about until you discover what works for you. Maintain informed everyday. Then begin letting your views be heard. You have the encounter to evaluate what is going on, and there are several folks out there who will appreciate what you have to say.<br /><br />For my whole adult life I have been a writer, and earned my living as one, very first in New York City and then in Hollywood. She suggested I call her if I had any story tips for her. I came up with 5, the initial in the middle of the night when I discovered myself sitting up in bed thinking about Grandpa Walton, and how the loved ones may react to the heart attack I was going to inflict upon him.<br /><br />That woman hired me to write my very first script, sending me house from The Burbank Studio with 5 treatments and scripts that had been written by her husband. Thus began my career in Hollywood. I have written a lot of scripts and taught screenwriting at each UCLA and USC. Overall I have had a satisfying and creative life. None of which prepared me for taking on the globe of technologies, web web sites, Facebook, and other social media networks.<br /><br />Due to the fact buddies and colleagues had been urging me to expand my work life, I asked myself, 'How bad could understanding this stuff be?'<br /><br />I chose the marketing woman a former student suggested, who informed me I needed a new internet site, one that was interactive. I had no notion what that would entail, or how much I would have to do to create it. No 1 in my tiny town knew how to generate a web site employing WordPress. A person managed to put up a site, but it didn't function appropriately. In the meantime, I had learned how to add text to each tab, different if it was a 'page' tab or a 'post' tab, drop and drag a picture, a video, a URL. Getting a headache? So did I.<br /><br />Three months have gone by. My head is nonetheless spinning. I have taken notes on all that I have learned, significantly of which will now change as the website is reworked by somebody who does realize how to produce an interactive internet site And the real function, the advertising and marketing, hasn't even begun. For that I will have to understand how to use a new enterprise page at Facebook, how to tweet, formulate a power point presentation so I can speak to women's groups about my most recent project and on and on.<br /><br />Why need to I continue? Possibly you are too old for this, you could be thinking!<br /><br />My answer, right after a lot soul looking is: because I am not dead. I am wholesome, active, and extremely significantly here. I really like to write.
